Hygge Apps Cellular Sensor

Getting Started

Device Placement

The Hygge sensor will ONLY work where you have cellular service from AT&T. You must be able to make and receive calls from the location the sensor will be placed. The sensor should only be used indoors. Outdoor use is not recommended and may damage system components. The following locations are recommended for use:
  • In attics
  • In basements
  • Storage facilities
  • RVs

Blue Light

  • Blinking blue light indicates looking for a cellular signal, once signal is found it will turn solid.
  • If sensor is still blinking blue light after ~120 seconds there is no cellular service. Move sensor to an area with cellular service.
  • Blue light will turn off after 1 hour and then blink 1x per minute when readings are taken.

Green Light

  • A flashing green light means the cellular modem is trying to find the nearest tower, once it finds one it will turn solid during cellular communication.

Hanging the Monitor

The monitor comes with a plastic hanger with two holes. Attach the hanger flat against the wall with the curve side up using nails or the two pieces of double-sided adhesive based on your wall surface* at least 4ft off the ground. Align the back hole of the monitor to the top end of the hanger to attach it. *Do not use adhesive on wallpaper, brick, textured walls, or rough surfaces.

Leak Detection

If you purchased a Hygge Sensor with leak detection cable you will have a 6' black leak detection cable that is connected to a 3' leak detection rope. Connect the black cable to the to the Hygge sensor then place the leak detection rope flat on the ground.hygge cloud
